Alnico: Alnico magnets are made from aluminum, nickel, cobalt, iron and a few other elements, such as copper, Sintered alnico is made from a powdered mixture of ingredients that are pressed into a die under tons of pressure, sintered in a hydrogen atmosphere and then cooled either within a magnetic field or without (anisotropic vs. Isotropic).

Characteristics:

1. Excellect temperature stability, small changes in magnetic properties to temperature change.

2. Maximum working temperature can be as high as 550'C.

3. High residual induction, low coercive force and moderate energy products.

4. Strong corrosion resistance capability, no coating needed for surface protection
